Loved every bit of this even though it's months old. Gotta plan part two of this kind of thing soon! Great format too.

Congrats on the new role! Hope this means you'll be coming through ATL more often — would love your take on my hometown!

Also thanks for the Roy Choi reco! Will be heading to Vegas in January to see Adele and I can't wait to go!

Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I hope you're enjoying the Q3. I've been selling a bunch of stuff and saving for the M11-P... I'm about a grand out, at the moment (which, is insane to say that that's not a lot, comparatively), so sometime early next year! Can't wait. By the way... congratulations on the new gig! I haven't had the chance to say.

Thanks mate. And wow, an M11. I saw someone on the streets of Downtown LA with an M11 the other day and we had a chat. What a gorgeous, perfect camera. Good luck my friend. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

It's beautiful. I'm taking the piss a little, to be honest, in buying it - especially given my uncertain work situation but... I'm selling off the last of my music gear so it's not so bad. I figured if I'm going to buy one to keep me the next many years, it may as well be that one. The 11-P, is the choice, I think, as the unbranded front just looks so classy. Similar to the M3. We'll see how it goes though... still some money to bring in.

Yeah fair enough. As a first-time Leica buyer I find the red dot charming, but when it gets stolen because of it, I might change my tune :)

Oh, I love that wee red dot just as much as the next man. :) I recently bought an airtag and stuck it in my wee camera bag. It's not a foolproof system, but there's a little peace of mind in there.

Enjoy your Q. I’ve had the first version for a few years and it’s still the best camera I’ve ever used. Congratulations on your new role too.

Truly my favorite newsletter on here. If you were to upgrade this to paid, I would absolutely support.

To answer your story about the Leica: isn’t it beautiful how unexpected life can sometimes be? The serendipity of such moment. The joy of being proved wrong by universal dynamics? So amazing.

Wow, thanks so much for this Naomi. Keeping it free for now, although I hugely appreciate the super kind sentiment! And couldn't agree more about the Leica journey. I also think I'm now spiritually bonded with this camera...
